- A native of Cleveland, Ohio. Graduated from the Cleveland Public School system and studied at Cleveland State University where I received a bachelor’s and master’s degree in urban planning. I also received a master’s degree from Morgan State University in sociology with a concentration in collective action and social movements. I am life-member of the Cleveland Branch of the NAACP, and member of William T. Boyd, Lodge #79 – PHA Free & Accepted Masons (Cleveland), and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. Disclosure: I was a student participant in the CSU protest.
